Part1(i) Variety (20 marks). Excellent selection of sites and evidence of a comprehensive and systematic search, identifying a good range of relevant pages from a range of sources/organisations. Part1(ii) Commentary (20 marks) Once again, good balanced reviews with comments on perspective, context etc.. Part1(iii) Presentation (20 marks) Excellent clarity of text and images and working links. I dont know if this is the first web page you have created, but you have made an excellent start. Part 2(ai) Explanation of own experiences. (10 marks) Again, an excellent explanation with relevant examples which included integration of objects/images. Part 2(aii) Discussion of key principles. (8 marks). You showed a systematic approach, which lacked only references to Gary Alexanders Section 3: 'The skilled learner in cyberspace' paper. Part 2(bi) Reflection (8 marks) Very good response to this question, bearing in mind the lack of participation in the conference. Part2 (bii) Examples (10 marks) Overall, this was a truley excellent assignment, which must have taken a huge amount of time to perfect. Part 2b must have been particularly difficult because of lack of activity in the conference. Unfortunately, adults are at liberty to make choices and if some, (most), choose not to take part, there is not a lot that can be done. Thankfully, you overcame this problem with your enthusiasm and completed the assignment to a high standard. Well done, and I hope this will inspire you to even greater things with the coming assignments. Dont be put off by the lack of participation. You must continue with your messages, because they become much more important as the course progresses, particularly, the final ECA, which is marked externally.
